Changing and customizing your background can be done in the character tab in your profile.

Setting Multiple Backgrounds[]

While setting different backgrounds in your character slots is usually sufficient for enough variety of backgrounds, you can go a step further and customize every background for each character you want to use and switch between the backgrounds.

Typing /backs gives the following instructions:
Backs

Each background has a in-game designation that can be accessed by typing /(designation). For instance, typing /blueorb will change your background to the "blueorb". The change will permanently change the background for the character slot until it is either changed manually or another background is designated.

Background Table[]

The following gives the full list of backgrounds (with the gnome in highest opacity):

  1. In order for the /bg command to be used as a background, it needs to be unbound from the preset text bind (/unbind bg) each time the game is opened.

Short Hand[]

You can Bind short hand keywords to each background that you would like to use. The shortest keyword that makes sense and wont interfere with other commands is "b" for background.

Short Hand List[]

An example of a short hand list:

b1=/blueorb;
b2=/bubble;
b3=/vapor;
b4=/ring;
b5=/stars;
b6=/goldframe;
b7=/shrooms;
b8=/moon;
b9=/thedark;
b10=/spider;
b11=/skye;
b12=/cave;
b13=/magicorb;
b14=/water;
b15=/shrub;
b16=/door;
b17=/butterfly;

Optional (see Notes below):
b18=/bg;

Notes[]

The /bg is part of the preset text binds (bg=/me sports a big ol' grin.) and will not work as a background changer unless the preset bind is removed.

Type /bind bg=[enter] or /unbind bg[enter] to remove the preset bind if you want to use /bg to change backgrounds. This has to be done each time the game is opened.
